San Severino Marche is the ideal town for those who love arts, nature and genuine flavors.

Not to be missed, in addition to the very central Piazza del Popolo with the Theater and the Modern Art Gallery, also Castello al Monte on the top of the hill with the ancient Cathedral, the municipal tower, the Archaeological Museum and the ancient medieval walls. We also suggest you the visit of the Pinacoteca (Art Gallery), the church of San Lorenzo in Colpersito and San Domenico with its cloister. Very particular are the sanctuaries of Glorioso, Madonna dei Lumi and San Pacifico, as well as the Museum of the territory with its industrial machinery of Nineteenth century.

San Severino Marche is the largest municipality in Macerata province and is the third in Marche region; its territory is dotted with ancient villages and medieval watch-towers. Particularly significant are the village of Borgo di Elcito, near the Regional Park of San Vicino and Monte Canfaito mountains, as well as castello di Pitino. For trekking and nordic walking lovers, we suggest an excursion to the Plateau of Canfaito with its secular beech-trees which are the most ancient in Marche  region and to Valle dei Grilli along Potenza river up to the famous caves of  Grotte di Sant’Eustachio.

When you are in San Severino Marche, don’t forget to taste our typical food, such as the “calcioni” ( “cargiù” in our dialect), the rabbit in roast, the “ciauscolo” salami or simply the “bruschetta” made of fresh bread with our awarded extra virgin orbetana olive oil. To drink, in addition to our very good tap water, coming from the source of Potenza river in the nearby mountains, taste a good glass of red DOC wine “I Terreni di Sanseverino” or our sparkling red vernaccia of Serrapetrona.

In Da Sugarì B&B you will find further details and we will be at your full disposal for any further information required.
